In-Home Pet Care
Many pets are happiest staying in their own familiar environment while you are away. Their favorite bed, toys, view out the window, cozy couch spot, and the comforting scent of home all help reduce stress and anxiety. With multiple daily visits available, your pet receives plenty of attention, care, and companionship while remaining safe and comfortable in their own home.

Daycare & Overnight Care in Our Home
For dogs that enjoy companionship, we also offer limited daycare and overnight stays in our home. Our household already includes our own dogs, and our neighborhood allows up to four dogs per home. Because of this, guest dogs stay in a real home environment with a small group rather than a crowded boarding facility. We carefully consider temperament and compatibility to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe.

Whether your pet stays in their own home or as a guest in ours, you can relax knowing they are receiving loving, professional care.

At Critter & Home Care, everything we do is centered around what is best for your pet.

Every animal has its own personality, habits, routines, and comfort level. Some pets thrive staying in their own home environment, while others enjoy companionship and activity. Our goal is to provide the type of care that helps your pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you're away.

We care about your fur babies as much as you do!

We treat your pets as though they were our own! We follow all of your special instructions while pet sitting, so their essential daily routines stay the same.

We understand that every animal has a different routine and a different purrsonality / pupsonality. We take the time to get to know your pets so that they become comfortable with us and allow us to join them in playing their favorite games and sharing cuddles.

Just like us, our fur babies can have health challenges, especially as they age. Maybe a little physical assistance is needed to go outside, or perhaps multiple potty breaks are needed due to bladder problems? No need to worry, we have options that include multiple visits throughout the day, so they never have to go longer than 4 hours without a potty break. Our morning visits are at 6am and we tuck them in at 9-10pm. This way, they are able to "hold it" during the night just as though you were asleep for those 8-9 hours.

Puppy pills, cat creams and bird balms.

If your pal needs medications administered single/multiple times during the day, no need to worry. With combined backgrounds in pharmacy (RPh) and emergency medicine (FF/Paramedic), you can rest assured that everything is going according to your pet's specific plan.

We all get lonely sometimes.

Mental health is just as important for pets as it is humans, especially since we rely on each other for love and support. We understand that some pets may experience anxiety during separation from their owners. As a Certified Bio-Touch Healing Practitioner and Reiki Master, Eileen can provide your pet with proven stress lowering Bio-Touch or Reiki sessions to help ease their anxiety, lower stress levels and to help them feel more cared for.

Play Time

Everyone knows that a tired critter is a good critter and that play time is essential for your pet's mental health. Whether it be socializing in one of the neighborhood parks, playing ball in the back yard, or attacking a feather on a stick, we will join in on your pet's favorite game so that they can have a great time with a pal.

Potty Time

Whether it's on a walk, in the back yard, or in a litter box, we will clean up after each of your pet's potty breaks and dispose of it so that you are not left with a mess or any lingering odors. Sometimes they can't cross their legs hard enough. Not to worry, we will clean up all pet accidents (and perhaps some moody "intentionals") if they happen so your home remains nice and clean for your return.

Feeding Time

Just like children, our pets can be finicky eaters at times. We follow all of your special food preparation instructions, so their meals are always made their favorite way and that they are never over-fed. Pet allergies are also no fun. We understand the hardship of food intolerances and allergies so we will never feed your pet any treats or food that you did not provide. In case there's a problem and we need more food or pet supplies, just let us know where you do your shopping and we can get more until you get home.

Cuddles & Comfort

Every pet deserves love and attention while their family is away. We make sure visits include plenty of cuddles, companionship, and reassurance so your pet feels safe and cared for.

For pets who experience anxiety, calming Bio-Touch or Reiki sessions may also be available with Eileen, a Certified Bio-Touch Practitioner and Reiki Master.

PET PROGRESS & REPORT CARDS

It's OK to check in on your pet.

It's hard not to worry about your fur baby when you are gone so we've set up YOUR OWN PERSONAL PAGE to view your pet's daily photos. We will send you an email to set up your login and password so that only you can access your pet's personal photos. After you have set up your account, you will be able to access your pet's photos by going to our critter of the day page and following the instructions to your personal page. Although we are always available by phone or text message, sometimes cell service can be sketchy or costly out of the country. In this case, you can always reach us by Facebook messenger which is free as long as you have internet access.
